20 November 2008, by Today is Conner’s 2nd 1st birthday. One year ago today was Conner’s and Braedon’s due date. Some people lately have been trying to tell me that this doesn’t matter, that Conner was 1 in July. This is true. He did have a birthday in July. But these extra 4 months were significant. For the first 4 months of his life, Conner weighed less than 5 lbs and was laying in an enclosed isolette for the majority of the time. He wasn’t at home, bonding with us, learning to hold his head up, smiling, etc. H
